Assistant Headteacher - KS3 and Personal Development

Following a career in pharmacy, I decided upon a change of direction and returned to education taking up a role as a TA in a SEND provision whilst studying at the University of Greenwich. I started my move into leadership in my second year of teaching when I took on the role of head of year in a mainstream primary school in Greenwich.

I knew that I wanted to support pupils with SEND and became an assistant SENDCo in 2019, then SENDCo in 2021. I completed my NASENCO qualification in 2022, and added Assistant Head of School to my responsibilities the following year. I am passionate about working with students and families with SEND- equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything I do and I am committed to being an advocate for others in our community.

I joined Cleeve Meadow in September 2024 and am responsible for KS3 and Personal Development. Outside of school, I love swimming, travelling and spending time with my three children. I am always planning our next adventure- whether that is a picnic in the park, a museum visit or a break away.
