Ms Henderson

Assistant Headteacher - Head of Behaviour, Teaching and Learning

After graduating with a degree in English and History of Art, Ms Henderson started her career in education working for the schools teams at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the University of Westminster. She took up a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at a small secondary school in South East London and found she loved being back in the classroom so she re-trained to be an English Teacher. As the school grew into a much larger Academy, she held various roles of responsibility in the English department and then moved to whole school responsibility positions including Head of Faulty for English & Languages and Assistant Principal for Teaching & Learning.

Ms Henderson joined Cleeve Meadow School in September 2024 as Assistant Headteacher and English teacher and is responsible for Teaching and Learning and Behaviour. Alice is passionate about students' academic and personal development and believes all students have the right to high quality teaching and learning during their time at school. Her own teenagers keep her busy outside of school!
