DUKE OF EDINBURGH - BRONZE AWARD - Year 12 SKILLS AND THE NATIVE TREES OF KENT

The Year 12 DofE group has embraced the SKILLS Award with enthusiasm and zest. They have walked and talked about trees, leaves
and cones for the last three months - Footscray Meadows, Scadbury, Danson and Avery Hill Park. They have learnt the similarities of all trees and the differences between pine, sycamore and oak.

In January they begin the PHYSICAL section of the Bronze Award. The students and I are excited to learn to dance, play ping pong, jog and walk more in practice for the June expedition.
